Directions to the Volunteer Staging Areas

For ease, I've posted directions to the staging areas here, as well as on the Forums.

From Stockon (or points South of Twin Cities Road)
Take I-5 North and take exit 498 for Twin Cities Rd toward Walnut Grove/Galt.
Turn left at Twin Cities Rd and go 4.4 miles
Turn right at River Rd and go 4.6 miles (with the river on the left)
At the first bridge, turn left, go over bridge.
Coming off the Bridge, Turn right at S River Rd and go 1.2 miles
Turn left at Courtland Rd and go 3.4 miles
Take the sharp left hand turn (Road turns into Ryer Island Road) for about 2.5 miles
Just before Ryer hits Miner Slough, there is a Y in the road (old abandoned cart in the field to the right), take a right onto Holland Road.
Follow Holland Road along the top of the Levee, past Arrowhead harbour to the end of the road.
The staging point is here at the end of Holland Road.

From Boat Via Rio Vista
Head North out of Rio Vista in the Deep Water channel for about 5 miles until you see the first slough to your right (Miner Slough).
Just less than a mile up is the first "lagoon" on your left. This is Halls Island, keep going down Minors Slough.
Just over a mile, you will see a second slough of to the left -- this is where you want to come. Take a left here and towards the middle of the slough, you will see the site.
